Please note this event starts at 7.00pm
The event on the 1st Sept and the 15th has been cancelled
After the event on 25th August there will be the prize presentation and
social for the years prize winners for the top 3 riders in
each Cat and the overall points winner will receive the
Fit4Life Vo2 assessment prize worth £110.
Please attend the 25th as it
will be a great evening as Bill Butterworth has put a lot of
time and effort in running the series and we can show him
are appreciation.

A close battle between Vince Halpern and R Jackerman for the
overall this year with Wayne Thomas missing the last races
due to injury close behind. P Doel winning The C cat's only
points apart in a tough group. And E Medallion winning the
B's by 1 point from S Holmes.

Last race of the season 2010
We have had a dry season as far as the
Wednesday Team Quest series but
we were reminded that we do live in
England
last night.“Very Very wet” .14 brave sols turned up to race
which included 5 Hillingdon fit4life riders which prior
already had arranged a beer and curry night after the event,
Two of them had travelled from
the Southampton
area.The race stayed together with attack’s from Vince
Halpern ,Williams and Holmes but with such a small group no
one was going anywhere. The stronger riders kept the pace as
high as possible until the final sprint. Stuart Jackson Team
Quest kicked first with Halpern and Sherwood reacting but
Holmes managed to get his gear moving and managed to
overhaul Halpern to take the final race
After the race Bill held the prize
presentation for the years racing and Vince Halpern
collected his Fit4Life vo2 prize as the King of Hillingdon
Circuit.It was a real shame that the weather was so bad and
had put so many riders of coming and missing the Final
evening. ” British Summer weather”.

Team Quest LVRC 11/8/10
Very attacking yet again with breaks going all the time .
With 4 laps to go 4 riders broke clear only to be caught
with 1 lap to go with the help of
M. Diggins putting in a strong lap. On the back straight Des
Gaylor put in a hard effort and had a promising gap. The
bunch towed along by Holmes sprinted in but Des was caught
by a fast finishing pack with Holmes taking it from Des with
Vince Halpern and Paul Doel close behind.

Team Quest LVRC 28/7/10
Very attacking yet again with breaks going all the time with
the longest being
Scott Holmes solo for 6 Laps mid way
but it was Duncan Sherwood move with Medallion that finally
looked like sticking with around 8 laps to go
Scott Holmes & Simon Williams, Gabellini, Paul Doal and a
few others managed to forge across to make it 8 and with a
sprint looming it was looking good for Holmes.
But as the group slowed in the last 2 Laps Vince Halpern
Time Trialled across on his own and won the sprint from
Gabillini & Medallion with Duncan 4th Simon 5th and Scott 6th.

After lots of attacks a break of 4 with 3 more chasing went
clear with 5 Laps to go. The bunch came in with Holmes
,Roshier and williams leading the pack.

Team Quest LVRC 30/6/10
A break of two went clear early in the race S Holmes and J
Donald but with 30 mins left the bunch reeled them in. More
attacks kept the pace high, but it was left to a mass bunch
sprint. Colin Roshier still nursing his back kicking hard in
the back straight to lead out team mate Paul Doel. V Halpern
still managed to get around both of them to take overall
victory with the Finchley boy hot on his heels.

Very windy evening with lots of attacks and groups going
clear but with around 7 Laps to go 4 riders forged clear
containing D sherwood LVRC Champ
,J Donald, E Medallion and C Beales. E Medallion proved to
strong for the group and broke clear with a lap to go to
take the victory with Sherwood out sprinting the other two,
With the bunch close behind V Halpern out sprinting Holmes
again to take the bunch sprint.
Wayne Thomas Reading cc now leads the Table this year with
14 points

Team Quest LVRC Hillingdon 02/6/10
Again Lots of attacking with 4 riders breaking clear at half
way this grew to around 9 with riders getting across. The
bunch however were never far away and on the 1/2 last lap
reeled the break in. But with the stronger riders in the
break Halpern Holmes Gayler & Holloway keeped
at the front of the pelton managed to clam the first 4
placings.

Team Quest LVRC Hillingdon 19/5/10
Again Lots of attacking with 4 riders breaking clear with 11
Laps to go Scott Holmes, Gabenllini ,Simon Hyme
and another strong rider. But with only a lap to go the
bunch were only at 8 sec's and on the last corner the front
of the bunch made contact with T Burke powering past. A
determined Holmes kicked hard to over take Burke to take the
Victory.
In the EFG Cat B Jackerman is making his mark this year and
is leading the Table with 9 points.

Hillingdon 21/4/10
Lots of attacking lead to a fast race but altogether at the
end for a very fast bunch sprint. Unfortunately it lead to a
mass crash on the last bottom corner with carbon and bodies
every-ware. Paul Shoebridge came of the worse and needed an
ambulance" Hope he is ok we all wish him a speedy recovery".
Good to see a name from the past up there nick Faint.

Team Quest LVRC crits
Hillingdon 7/4/10
The first event of the Wednesday evening races was a typical
grey cold evening at the circuit. With last year prominent
winner Colin Roshier absent, the peloton was reved up for a
fight.Mick Hill from Team Quest was clear, Mick
has some great early season results, off the back of riding
the winter series, so Simon sensed danger and bridged
across. That was the last the bunch saw of them, the pair
steadily building a lead. The race was only 48 minutes long
as light was fading, the last 5 laps was torture for the
leaders working hard to keep the bunch at bay. Mick led the
sprint out holding Simon to the right hand gutter and by six
inches won the race.
