MK Bowl 3-4 Cat 14th August

Will Houghton had plenty to celebrate tonight passing his exams and getting into Portsmouth uni plus another fab ride 2nd once again. Both U23 Squad riders looked strong tonight staying near the front and chasing down any breaks waiting for that final lap. One rider broke clear with 4 laps to go but they did not panic and on the last lap he was caught. Greg in 5th place and Will on his will both looked good for a high placing but unfortunately as the bunch started to unwind for the sprint the rider in front of Greg switched in front of him costing him a placing but Will was on the other side of his wheel and managed to storm through.

Hull 10TT 718 9th August Ladies Juniors & overflow Event

Gregory had the chance to ride this fast course after dad Scott did not get into this event with the men’s event closing on a 20;30 with preference to Yorkshire clubs. He took the 3 hr drive with Greg Lewis from the VC10 who rides this course on a regular basis and said no PB’s today to windy. But Greg was having non of it and went round in a 21;20 a PB by 20 secs and 4th in his event. Greg Lewis and many other riders were all around 40 sec’s to1 min of there best times. Big thanks to Greg Lewis VC10.

Many events were cancelled over the weekend due to heavy rain Scott’s 50 and Will’s Road Race.
